Today, we welcome actor, writer, filmmaker, musician, poet, yoga teacher, singer-songwriter, husband and father, James Morrison. James has been on the professional stage since the early 1980s and has won many awards such as The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Performance.
On TV you may recognize him from Law and Order SVU, Frasier, Quantum Leap, The X-Files, The West Wing, Six Feet Under, and the 1995 series Space: Above and Beyond. On 24, he played CTU Director Bill Buchanan beginning in the 4th season.
James has done about a hundred plays at theaters like the McCarter Thater, the La Jolla Playhouse, the Mark Taper Forum, the LA Stage Company, The Salt Lake Acting Company, The Old Globe, and the Pasadena Playhouse. He and his wife have made several fims together, including a feature-length documentary, Showing Up.
