About the Guest: Rion Paige, born with arthrogryposis, multiplex congenita, and amyoplasia (AMC), has faced unique challenges throughout her life. From a young age, Rion noticed that her hands looked different from those of her peers, but it wasn't until later that she fully grasped the extent of her condition. Her wrists were permanently curved, limiting her grip strength and making simple tasks like brushing her hair a struggle. While Rion has feeling in her hands, certain movements, such as raising her arms above her head, prove difficult. Activities of daily living require adaptability and assistance from her supportive husband. Despite these obstacles, Rion remains determined to live life to the fullest and is an inspiration to others as she navigates the world with resilience and grace.
