Typically when you think of finance, you think of white men. Specifically, old, white men. But despite the stereotypes, there are women paving their way in the industry bit by bit.
One of these women is Urmi Hossain, a Bengali woman born in Italy who is now living in Montreal and living her finance career dreams. It’s uncommon to hear of someone who is passionate about finance, but Urmi is no common woman. She is sharing her gifts with the world, particularly with women who need education in financial literacy.
Urmi loves the art of personal finance and how numbers can be made into stories that can help people better understand how their money works. In this episode, she shares a wealth of inspiration and knowledge about how she got into this career field and how she uses it to help others earn their own independence in life.
Urmi is truly inspirational, and I’m so excited to be sharing her story with you all here!
