What began as a character in a series of commercials for NBC Sports in 2013, has become one of the most popular and critically acclaimed series of our time. Ted Lasso has captured the imagination of viewers around the world, with its humor and heart, and though the Lasso universe may be revisited at some point, the original series will never be forgotten. This is our review, and our tribute, to Ted Lasso.
Two Nations Under Ted: A Ted Lasso Podcast, brings together three hosts from two different parts of the world. From the U.S. is Tom Clark of Tom Clark's Main Event and Tom Clark's 6M Podcast, and from the U.K. is Jay Luft of The Untitled Wrestling Podcast, and Joe Higgens from Hallmark of Greatness and Dammit Vince.
Episode 6 of Ted Lasso, entitled "Two Aces," was written by Bill Wrubel, and was directed by Elliot Hegarty. In this episode, Ted is dealing with the recent separation from his wife, as AFC Richmond gets an injection of new life in the form of Dani Rojas, who brings the team together despite a curse that has plagued the club for years. But although Jamie Tartt shows signs of coming around to the Lasso way, Rebecca decides to ruin that progress by the end. Tom, Jay, and Joe, dissect this episode scene by scene, and it's the perfect companion to the show itself!
Two Nations dives into all three seasons of Ted Lasso, 34 episodes total, with wrap up episodes coming at the end of each season. Follow the show on social media and subscribe to our other podcasts at the links below. Stay tuned for more!
