Description

Becky is a mom and runs a ranch at her home In Pendleton, Oregon. She is a powerful intercessor and is the show director for Happy Canyon at the Pendleton Roundup. She is also an author and a good friend. She would probably tell you all of these things are just assignments from God and not her identity. At a deeper level, she is a friend of God and a beloved daughter of our Father. This is true for all of us as followers of Christ. The incredible thing about Becky is that she knows it. She knows it in the way we have been discussing on knowing on the OG Podcast- as an experiential, interactive knowing at a heart level, as a further knowing of something known previously at a more introductory level. For this reason and more that will become evident in this week’s show, Becky is a Black Belt in the Kingdom of God.

This is a very special episode of the OG Podcast. Not only is it our first female guest (we pray that there will be many more!) but it is also one of those conversations that caused us to pause and thoughtfully consider with God the direction of the podcast in a larger sense. This is a special and rare conversation. There are times of interactive prayer and powerful kingdom realities that will give you pause as well. With Becky’s story we get a picture of what the possibilities are in our walk with God. Pour yourself a cup of Joe, sit back, give this your full attention and enjoy a conversation with a Kingdom Black Belt, Becky Waggoner.

Story is the language of the OG Podcast. Through story we are [RE]DISCOVERING JESUS and who we are in Christ. In doing so we are inspiring people to change their mind (how they think and feel) about God and life in his kingdom. We’ve found the stories of people who walk with God so helpful in gaining an understanding of the ways in which God works and what it might look like for us to walk with God. If a revolution is going to spring up in the Body of Christ, it’s going to be ordinary people like you and me discovering who we are in Christ and living this out in the context of our ordinary, everyday lives- in the marketplace, in marriage, parenting, friendships and relationships, even in areas of passion and adventure! Every week we will bring you fresh stories that will help you discover what it might look like to walk with God in all areas of our lives and that will help you discover who you truly are in Christ.
