Welcome to the Therapists Unmasked, where we discuss the mental health struggles that therapists face behind closed doors. As professionals we are taught to put our emotions aside to help our clients with their own emotional battles.
Not only is our goal to help normalize therapists mental health, but to also help other people get their stories across. In doing so, we will use our counseling knowledge to have therapeutic conversations with our guests in which they talk about their fears, traumas, and other heavy mental health topics.
In todays episode, we sit down together for the first time since our first episode to check in with each other. We discuss what we have been up to lately, how we're doing mentally, and what we could do better to improve our mental health. We also discuss the challenges we face in dealing with imposter syndrome and how to address it. So, grab a drink or snack and join us on our journey where we unmask the hardships that people just like you face, whether you are a mental health therapist or a listener, and learn how to cope with these issues.
