Join me in this episode as 2024 kicked off in every way I could have NEVER imagined. I lost my grandfather which meant that this would be our 6th funeral in just over a years time. Emotionally spent with yet another loss and kids that we once again had to explain through hard conversations about both life and death. Then ultimately one of the scariest events of my entire life as my husband and I were both attacked by a crazy little fox that happened to have freaking RABIES which meant that we actually could ourselves be incubating the rabies virus! We found out quickly that rabies is not something you wait around to find out if you have symptoms as it has a 100% fatality rate when positive! We took quick action and got treatment for rabies as we have many babies that need their mom and dad to not be foaming at the mouth!! All that to say that ultimately Mr. Fox met his end when strangled by an 11 year old boy who had to kill the rabid fox to save his little brother!
