In Today's Show
- Are Catholics the new chosen people of God because the Jews rejected Christ, or are the Jewish people still in God's covenant from Moses along with the Catholics? I have been told differently from different priests.
- What can the laity do to assist in the Eucharistic Revival?
- Is it immoral for a Catholic to have a career in making horror content (books/films/other media)?
- If I have a Rosary and I don't know if it's blessed or not, can I have it blessed even though it might be a "second blessing?"
- At my parents' parish they have an LED candle for the Sanctuary Candle. What does Canon think of this? Is there teaching from the Church about this and is there anything we can do?
- I have a priest friend who changes wording in the mass. Instead of kingdom, he'll say household for example. Is he allowed to do that, and where in the rubric does it mention the wording? Should I offer him correction in a loving manner, or is that inappropriate for a lay person to do?
- Are all diocesan Bishops assigned a canon? Also, do all dioceses have a canon lawyer?
- I have seen many tabernacles without veils, even though the Blessed Sacrament is within. Is that something we should offer to donate a veil for?
- How often should you have your home blessed by a priest?
- I'm ashamed to admit that I have never been to confession. I was Baptized as an infant but I was told that because I never completed the First Communion classes when I was 5 or so and have never done my Holy Communion, I could not receive the bread, nor could I confess. I am very confused and I fear committing a grave offense to God and His son, Jesus Christ if I go to confession without the necessary prerequisites. Please help me understand what I must do to become aligned with God and Jesus Christ's word.
