Fr. Anthony Amato is the Pastor of St. Peter's Parish in Clifton Springs, New York. He was ordained as a priest in June of 2017 by Bishop Salvatore Matano of the Diocese of Rochester, New York.

 

 

• For five years now I have been saying the Rosary every morning. In my prayers I pray that my Grandsons will be Baptized in the Catholic faith. I pray that my Daughters, my ex wife and my siblings return to Mass. Is there a Patron Saint that I can pray to that can answer my prayers?

• I have an elderly mother who's been a devout Catholic her whole life, and my siblings and I were blessed to be brought up in the faith. Over the last several years she has lost much of her hearing and stubbornly refuses to wear hearing aids. She also stopped going to confession. She has been declining in her memory but not yet diagnosed with dementia. Her energy levels have also resulted in her not wanting to attend mass and saying her rosary less frequently. How should my siblings and I respond to this lack of interest in faith practice?
