MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I figured since it’s the holidays, might as well bring on a bold, full bodied wine. Today I open up a Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma county. Rodney Strong has been making waves in California’s wine scene for decades and today’s bottle is one of their umbrella brands known for their commitment to quality and sustainable practices.
Bluewing vineyards focuses on sustainable farming and careful vineyard management. This label was created to honor the family’s passion for small-lot, premium wines that reflect the diversity of Sonoma county. Every bottle not only represents the unique geography of this region but is also made with care for the environment.
Today’s vintage 2020 was a challenging year for the wine scene in California due to a wildfire that impacted a lot of vineyards. Fortunately they were able to harvest the grapes and produce the wine. Tune in now to hear all about this brand and wine and I hope you all have a beautiful Christmas surrounded by loved ones.
Cheers to the holidays!
