“I admire wine, I respect it and try to bring out what is already written in the soil it is born and grows in.” This is the perspective that the grandfather of Graziano Pra passed down from generations to him and his father. I just love that they are all about how great wine reflects the land it comes from.
Today, I open up a Soave Classico from the Veneto region located in the northeastern part of Italy. Garganega grapes are native to Veneto and are known for their role in the production of the Soave wine. Soave must contain a minimum of 70% Garganega grapes.
Overall, my favorite characteristic this producer has is that they are adamant on guiding the wine and not imposing on what nature does but rather leading it in the right direction towards an elegant, precious wine. Tune in now to get all the details and tasting notes on this grape.
