Katie Burrell returns in the lead up to "Weak Layers" her first feature length, Hollywood Film!

 

Over the last 6 years, Katie has been consistently levelling up with her filmmaking and she credits that to her ability to invest in herself.  Set for a theatrical release on Jan 5, 2024 Weak Layers is a refreshed take on the ski comedy genre, with a far more realistic take on ski town life, from Katie's point of view that we've come to love.

 

Katie explains the learning process in making this film was like, "drinking from the firehose".  Here she shares behind the scenes stories about the writing process, learning how to be a director on a Hollywood production, relying on her team for support and lots more.
