Description

Did you know that systemic medical conditions can manifest as a skin condition?

Absolutely they can! This is one of the many reasons why it is so important to have a relationship with a healthcare provider that you know and trust.

The American Academy of Dermatology Association has named November as National Healthy Skin Month!

We are joined this week by Hallie Brigmond, who is a Physician Assistant at Georgia Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center in Douglas, GA. She has a passion for taking care of and loving on her patients, as well as helping women simplify their skincare and makeup routine.

We discuss the importance of taking care of patients as if they are family members, and we cover topics such as skin cancer, Hidradenitis suppurativa, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, acne, botox, skincare routines, and rosacea. We also talk about the psychological impact that skin conditions can have on a person, including myself.
