But now our society and culture increasingly reject what we stand for and hope in. Today Pastor Nate briefly tackles this question, drawing on a book written by D. A. Carson: Christ and Culture Revisited. In it, Carson lays out three biblical principles that inform the way we view the world and act as Christ's witnesses in it. At the end of the day, we know Jesus Christ is growing his kingdom, even in ways we do not know. And so, in approaching the world, we really do have hope.
