06 A Thanksgiving Reflection: Rejoice, Pray, and Give Thanks
What does rejoice, pray continually, and give thanks have in common?
Here’s a hint: They are listed in a well-known verse we always hear in November.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Paul writes: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Three simple but sometimes hard commands to live by:
Rejoice always
Pray without ceasing
Give thanks in all circumstances
In today’s episode, Missy talks about these three commands and encourages listeners to create a list of things they are thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving! And remember to live boldly for Jesus and let your light shine bright for Him!
