In the Northern Hemisphere, Winter can be a trying period in the year where our energy levels are low. They are low due to the lack of sunshine and subsequent drop in vitamin D, but also because there is a tendency to stay indoor. Nature shows us we need to slow down.
In that context, Christmas arrives and uses up a ton of our energy, not just from the Planet's point of view, but our personal reserves of energy. It is not surprising that we can finish the year completely drained. However, the biggest drain of all is the energy vampires in our lives that hide in plain sight, often times in our families or bigger circle of relatives.
