If you're not listening and you're not solving the problem, then there's nothing to close.
1. You have to be in a frame of mind that you're totally focused on who you're talking to - the client
2. Think in your head, what is the best way to help them!
3. This is a collaborative process- you the salesperson and the client.
4. Analytical thinking is needed to figure out the cause for the problem
5. Creativity to solve and the client really appreciates it and will reach out to you to help and it builds the relationship
6. Active listening - listening in progress
7. Critical thinking - evaluating the information from different perspectives so you can make it better it's decisions
8. Adaptability- need to be able to change
9. Negotiations- find the best solution for everyone
10. Empathy- you feel like you're with them, you're feeling their pain
11. Resourcefulness
12. Time management
13. Resolving conflicts
Problem-solving is in two parts of the process, always need to get customer feedback
