Zoe takes us on a deep dive through the horrific past and hauntings of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. The Trans-Allegheny Insane Asylum, known for its brutal treatments and poor living conditions, is believed to be haunted due to the numerous deaths that occurred there. Treatments included lobotomies, medication-induced catatonia, hydrotherapy, and more. Many patients suffered or died as a result of these treatments. The asylum, which was overcrowded and understaffed, witnessed several violent incidents among patients. After its closure in 1994, numerous reports of hauntings, including apparitions, shadowy figures, and strange noises, have been documented.
