This week Dallas gives us a two-for-one episode including both the D.B. Cooper Hijacking and Hotel Del Salto. The DB Cooper hijacking refers to the unsolved case of an unidentified man who, on November 24, 1971, hijacked a Northwest Orient Airlines flight between Portland and Seattle. He extorted $200,000 in ransom and then parachuted from the plane, disappearing without a trace. Despite an extensive manhunt and investigation, Cooper's identity and fate remain unknown.
The Hotel del Salto, located in Colombia, was initially opened in 1928 as a luxurious destination for wealthy travelers. Over the years, it fell into disrepair and was abandoned. The hotel, situated near the Tequendama Falls, is now a museum and is known for its beautiful yet eerie atmosphere, often associated with ghost stories and legends.
