Do you think being emotional is a weakness? As a child, I was always known as the "cry-baby" and it often made me feel weak, soft and really out of control. Until I realized that perhaps being so emotional wasn't a weakness, but instead, it was a strength....I just had to view it differently.
I think our emotions sometimes get a bad rap. If you can dig a little deeper to find out the true purpose of our emotions, as well as the benefits that they provide, your perspective may shift a bit.
A person who's mature emotionally, is one who has learned how to self-regulate, is emotionally intelligent and is able to use their emotions to their advantage instead of being used by them.
