In this episode of the LASt Word (an AALAS podcast) we were joined by Drs. Daniel Myers and Peggy Yang.
- Dr. Myers has a joint appointment with the Department of Surgery and the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is the Director and Professor of Surgery of the Conrad Jobst Vascular Research Laboratories and is nationally recognized for his expertise in translational animal model development. He is also the current IACUC chair and an ACLAM Diplomat.
- Dr. Yang is a clinical veterinarian in the Animal Care Operations division at the University of Houston. She recently completed her residency in laboratory animal medicine at the University of Michigan's Department of Laboratory Animal
Medicine.
- They recently published a paper in JAALAS titled "Evaluation of Efficacy of 2 Extended-release Bupivacaine Products in a Porcine Model of Incisional Pain."
