Description

Welcome to episode 0!  This is the episode that explains what the Mama Trauma Barbie podcast is all about. This will be an introduction to dismantling mama trauma at home, at work, in marriage, and in our parenting: how to feel, deal, and heal our way through what has been and what is waiting for us on the other side of permission and empowerment.

I loved the quote in the Barbie movie “Humans only have one ending. But ideas, they live forever.” Today we're discussing many ideas with my amazing friend Nadia Lewis, Vice President for Human Resources and the Center for Intercultural Excellence at Tiffin University. I know that Nadia and I are both SO tired of watching women tie themselves into knots so that people will like them (ourselves included!).  This is the Mama Trauma Barbie podcast, and we’re landing the mothership in the real world, right here, right now.

Our sponsors have been instrumental in launching the Mama Trauma Barbie podcast. We can’t wait to have you meet all of them over the coming weeks and learn even more about the ridiculously amazing things they are doing to make our world a better place.
