TW: miscarriage
In this solo episode, I open up about my own mental health journey, including my experiences with intrusive thoughts, family systems, miscarriage, and loss. I emphasize the importance of storytelling and normalizing life experiences to create community and understanding. I discuss my upbringing, struggles with communication and self-doubt, and the impact of being a competitive gymnast. I also share how therapy has helped me process and heal from a miscarriage, navigate unhealthy relationships, develop self-awareness and better communication skills.
Lastly, I highlight the value of movement, creating safe spaces, and practicing self-compassion in helping me get out of my head. If any of this resonates with you, I hope you feel seen and less alone!
