As a kid, I would look at people my parents age and older and thing they were ancient. Thankfully the tables have turned and nowadays, people in their 50s and 60s are just coming into the time of their lives when they can find their passion and purpose in life. Follow their dreams and live!
I sat down with Caroline Labouchere, a model and influencer who began her successful modeling career in her fifties. Caroline discusses her journey from being a school receptionist to being featured in British Vogue, not once, but 8 times at age 54. She had never modelled before, in fact, quite the contrary, she was a wife, mother and liked to hide behind these roles.
She and her family went through some very tough times, which changed her mindset and made her realise she needed to take control of her life and those around her. She found her passion, purpose and voice through modelling and now uses her influence to inspire others through her social media platforms, encouraging women to embrace aging, understand their health and chase their dreams irrespective of age.
