In this series on the power of education, we examine our lived experiences and perspectives as they relate to the power of education. This series focused on the significance of the power of education, the ways we navigate the complexities of life when education is utilized effectively and when it is not, and how to create opportunities for dialogue and discussion to unearth the power of education.

The idea of process in our lives
Seeing your purpose in different circumstances
Systems and oppositions come, but I am still abundant- all things work together for my good, especially things that may be uncomfortable
Focus on myself and my work ethic instead of external factors

Sometimes, we wait too long to expose students in age appropriate learning experiences
Emotional intelligence being taught in multiple courses
Faith community has not been as visible as it once was in our communities
Allow learning to evolve with seminal learning
The power of language is imperative
Appreciate differences through conversations
Remove descriptors from the hiring process to minimize confirmation bias
Listen attentively and take notes as we discuss practical strategies and insights that you can apply to your current situation.
