Did you know that humans have the ability to detect over 1 trillion odors, yet our individual reactions to them can vary dramatically? Migraine sufferers can be more sensitive to things in their environment, such as light, sound, and even odors. This is called Osmophobia, or a heightened sensitivity or aversion to certain smells. While this is rare on its own, it is quite common in those who suffer from migraines. In this episode, we're unraveling the mystery of olfactory overload and diving into the connection between odors, fragrance, and head pain.
