In this episode, we discuss the Wisconsin Prairie Chicken.  This podcast is part of a mini-series that highlights the history "Boom to Bust" of the bird in WI.

Brian sits down for a conversation with Alaina Gerrits.  She is the Assistant Upland Bird Ecologist for the WI DNR.  She gives us the history of the bird and challenges to keep them on the landscape.  

Wisconsin is working on a new 10-year plan for Prairie Chickens.  The bird, like many others, is at a critical mass point.  If you want to get involved there are links below.
