Food
Nilesh is vegetarian, and when I asked what he would like me to cook for him, he gave me this: "I love all food. I am a huge foodie. I’d like you to cook what’s authentic to you. Something close to your heart. So I can feel your love through the food."
I have never cooked Lithuanian "Saltibarciai" (Cold beetroot soup with kefir) on my show yet, but I always wanted to. Albeit I know it's not for everyone. I decided to take a risk and make it for Nilesh. :) I served it with crispy potatoes on a side. It is very healthy soup, and I truly hope Nilesh has enjoyed it. :)
