In C.S. Lewis's lesser-known book "The Discarded Image," Lewis posits that the Medieval age embraced the belief of devolution and that humanity descended from a higher, exalted state. This points to the good news that the overarching aim of life was to aspire, strive to grow in creation's original likeness, respect it, and ultimately regain it once more!

In contrast, the modern Darwinian view stands in opposition: a narrative of disorder progressing towards higher order, known as materialistic evolution. This viewpoint, championed by the materialist Richard Dawkins, promotes living life as one desires, yet it proves ultimately incompatible with sustainable adherence.

On today's episode of Wisdom Talks, we delve into how these contrasting worldviews manifest in our current cultural landscape and explore the significance of absolute truth.
