Sup, y'all? This episode was recorded the first day of Black History Month and it's good one! Kenny & Day Day discuss insensitivies, stereotypes, and misconceptions that are placed on the Black Community based on lived experiences that both have encountered both here in Bend and abroad. Adding onto that, they discuss entitlements and how there is an underbelly/unspoken entitlement over the Black community that manifests in gatekeeping and other ways. There are the usual tangents and connective conversations (like swag surfing/Taylor Swift, Oprah, People With Power, AAVE being banned in some schools but it's called "slang", and MUCH more)!
