Description

In today’s episode, I am honored to be joined by Rev. Noel Tendick, an interfaith minister, martial artist, poet … and so much more.

Noel and I have been connected for many years and I admire his brilliance and poetic heart—so it was really special to sit with him about snake medicine.

We go wide and deep discussing:

We also delve into why we may have a collective, primitive fear of snakes, how acknowledging the “shedding of our skins” matter, and how snake medicine is directly connected to our survival.

One of my favorite quotes from Noel in this episode, when talking about change and letting go:

“There’s devasting sorrow in the release; but fundamentally, I don’t know if it’s suffering, compared to resistance.”

Make sure to stay to the end to hear about his cohabitation with a rattlesnake outside his door one summer in Montana…

Learn More About Noel: Healer, Interfaith Minister, Martial Artist, Poet

My work is to help bring you back into your thriving center. We live in a diverse web, and there are many paths to healing, many guides to help you along your way. My foundation is to work from the level of spirit, however you define it.

I’ve been practicing energy healing, in the form of Reiki, for 22 years. I’ve been studying core shamanism for 5 years. I attended interfaith seminary, studying the world’s spiritualities and how to tend their followers.

I was ordained an interfaith minister in the fall of 2016, deepening an ordination I received 15 years earlier. And while I don’t currently offer massage, I am a trained massage therapist, carrying an awareness of the physical system with my spiritual healing practice.
