In episode 9 of The We Are Wellbeing Podcast, I had a comprehensive discussion with Clare Walker, a Registered Associate Nutritionist, about understanding menopause. 

Clare sheds light on this crucial phase in women's lives, providing expert answers to some of the most pressing questions about it. This podcast is almost a mini masterclass with an incredible amount of value which I hope you find really useful. Clare Walker is a Registered Associate Nutritionist and women's health advocate. As the founder of Her Nourished Life, Clare is on a mission to help women to improve their health and wellbeing through balanced, sustainable nutrition.

With a Master's in Public Health Nutrition, Clare spent years as a Healthy Lives Advisor within GP practices, supporting  clients with weight management, managing lifestyle related conditions such as type 2 diabetes, and improved mental health.

However, it was witnessing her own struggles, as well as friends and family, with menstrual problems and issues like PCOS, endometriosis, fertility challenges, and menopausal symptoms that ignited Clare's passion for women's health. She knows firsthand how powerfully diet and lifestyle can regulate hormones, ease discomfort, and restore balance.

Clare was also a CrossFit gym owner and coach for 7 years helping women to develop their fitness, strength and confidence
