This is fascinating and it explains why you can have two different people looking at the same landscape and yet have two different perceptions of it. What we perceive is defined, shaped and completely colored by our understanding of reality, which is based on our state of being...From experiences as unique as romantic partnerships to experiences as different as the creation of material wealth, it is all connected to and reflective of our state of being (deep beliefs about self-love, self-worth, emotional states, fears.)
