Description

Dr. Miriam Sekandi is a seasoned educator, keynote speaker, and international best-selling author of It Takes a Village to Wreck a Child.

She is on a mission to interrupt generational trauma and cultural conditioning patterns through her signature S.A.C.R.E.D Communication Method - a healing centered framework designed to stop emotional pain from being passed down like hand-me-downs in families.

Born and raised in Uganda, Miriam grew up navigating the tension between traditional culture and Christian values. After immigrating to Canada and raising four children across continents, she had a powerful realization: she was unconsciously re-enacting the very same trauma-shaped patterns that had plagued her childhood. That cycle had to end, for her, and for every parent and leader unknowingly repeating the same patterns.

Today, Miriam equips parents with emotional fluency and relational intelligence, so their children don't have inherit a generational trauma legacy.
