Writing as Avril Maria Serene, Scott Deaver is a newcomer to Springfield, arriving from San Diego a little over a year ago. Avril authors the Debra Ann Wynn Mysteries series, with three titles released this year: "Six Degrees from Killing Brian" on March 25, "The Hodin Cabal: Choices" on May 1, and "Aunt Tik's: The Killer App" on June 1. "Nero's Fiddle" should be out by the end of the year, with "Tellers of Terrible Tales: Writer's Block" and "The Stain in Pew #7" to follow.
