In 1958 a quiet awakening came to an area of southern Germany, led by a German Lutheran Pastor. That awakening spread to southern Germany and into parts of France. As it came, a movement was founded which fostered a Protestant religious order of men and women, who took vows of poverty and chastity. They became the backbone of the movement in Adelshofen.
