Ion Matei is from Moldova, a small but beautiful country. He is a soccer coach and trainer and is developing a Josiah Venture Edge Sports evangelistic soccer league. Currently, he is the only Josiah Venture Missionary in Moldova. He became a believer at the age of 22 and joined a local church, where he found fellowship and community. He aspires to empower young people to make disciples and to connect with other churches throughout the country for a bigger influence through soccer.
