This Fall, we are doing a special 5-part bonus series of the "Josiah Venture Stories" podcast featuring some original worship songs by Josiah Venture missionaries. These songs are connected to the theme we studied during our annual Spring Conference this past May. The theme was "Burden to Blessing: A Journey Through the Psalms." We learned about five soul paths highlighted in the book of Psalms: Lament, Sovereignty, Repentance, Wisdom, and Praise. During this series, each songwriter interviewed will share their music background and songwriting process. Then at the end of the episode, you will hear their original song.
This bonus episode features Noah Ellenwood, the author of the original song inspired by the soul path “Repentance” entitled “Hear My Prayer.” Noah serves with his family in Montenegro as the team leader, and they are pioneering the way as they are the only JV missionaries there. He is featured on episode 9 of the podcast, so after you listen to this episode, you can go and hear more about his story and the ministry happening in Montenegro.
