and recognizable faces in Houston music today. Kam Franklin is the
vocalist and front-woman of the surging self-proclaimed "Gulf Coast
Soul" band, The Suffers. Forming here in Houston in 2011, The
Suffers have since gained notoriety and have garnered prestigious
accolades such as playing David Letterman's last week, The Daily
Show with Trevor Noah, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
