About Juls Abernethy:

Before co-founding The Body Retreat, Juls enjoyed (or perhaps endured!) a long and varied career spanning three decades. Her experiences included dental nursing, retail, hospitality, and HR before burnout led to a three-month stay at a private psychiatric hospital. This stay ultimately ended her corporate career, but it also marked the beginning of her true life's work. Now a clinical hypnotherapist and women's wellness coach, Juls is on a mission to help other busy women understand how to look after themselves. When not working on retreats, she loves to be outdoors, walking, cycling, and especially cold-water swimming, of which she is an enthusiastic advocate.
