Today we are repenting for our nation and praying against suicide and despair.
Romans 15:13 NLT - "I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."
Ephesians 1:18 NLT - "I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance."
Psalm 119:114 NLT - "You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope."
Psalm 40:2-3 NLT - " He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord."
Isaiah 41:10 NLT - "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
The enemy is such a liar, and he does what he can to bring people to despair. A permanent decision for a temporary problem is a solution that he offers. We strike this down in Jesus' name and by the power of His blood.
