Deny yourself? Wait, what? Did Jesus really say that? 'Cause that certainly isn't what's taught in a world and country that's all about us.
But here's the reality, the way to fullness of life, is to surrender it all to Jesus and deny ourselves, pick up our cross (die to self) and follow Him.
This is what Dan and Andy discuss in this current episode. What does it profit us to gain the whole world, but lose our soul? (also God's word), answer, it doesn't profit us at all to gain the world and lose our soul...it kills us. We can keep chasing things in life and choosing ourselves, but it will always leave us empty...want full life? Give your life up to Jesus fully.
Trust me, it's worth anything that it costs. He is worth everything.
