In this episode we talk about:
"Half of my family is Polynesian, so food features prominently in my family. I've got a younger brother and a younger sister, and at primary school we were the only ones to finish all our graduation dinners. I was always at my friends' houses. I was every cooking mum's favourite kid because I would eat everything. I’d always come back for seconds and thirds.
"Food for me is one of the great pleasures. It's one of the luxuries that I really enjoy. I really enjoy going out for a meal with good friends, enjoy good wine and good food. That was always the experience that I’ve chased as a reward for what I have been fortunate enough to do and to achieve."
“I think Barrack Obama. I'd love to sit down and pick his brains. I would like to hear what keeps him up and what his frustrations are. He’s a fascinating guy, very intelligent and I respect him very much. I think he would be a wonderful dinner guest and a really great conversationalist.”
“Pasta, rosemary, roasted potatoes, some kind of sauce or something like that. That’s pretty much as good as it gets I reckon.”
