Do you struggle with self-love? Do you know when to believe in yourself? Sometimes our best insights come through the eyes of a compelling character or from the lessons in a fairy tale. In this replay of a fan favorite show, Rebecca talks with author and poet, Scott Delaney. Scott shares about his book about a "fixie" named Elphie who finds strength in her differences and learns to embrace who she is. Her fictional story compells us to consider the same ideas in our very real lives! As always, you can find our host, Rebecca Hall Gruyter at the www.RHGTVnetwork.com or at www.yourpurposedrivenpractice.com. Our guests are also online. Scott's online home is: www.ArlingtonPoet.com.
About our guest:
Scott Delaney was born in Germany, raised in the U.S., lived in Korea, and travels to his mum's homeland of New Zealand as often as possible. Scott's debut book, Elphie Earns Her Wings, is inspired from a childhood where diversity was celebrated and courage, empathy, and teamwork were family gifts. Scott's message is always: Difference is strength, teamwork above all, and do good for the sake of doing good, regardless of the consequences (a message tattooed around his neck). When he is not writing, Scott adventures with his wife Kristine and their two cats, Walty and Jesse. Find him online at: https://www.ArlingtonPoet.com.
