Glock V models were announced on October 20 in the wake of California's "Anti-Glock" law (AB1127), which targets previous commercial models and some clones capable of being illegally converted to full-automatic machine guns. Controversy surrounding the Glock V models erupted, which was then followed by the announcement of the Gen6 on December 6, 2025. Gen6 is the next generation of Glock, scheduled to arrive on the first day of the NSSF SHOT Show, January 20, 2026.
