The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children and families. The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children, offering free lodging, meals, and a supportive community near hospitals, reducing stress so parents can focus on their child's care and healing. They offer essential comforts like kitchens, laundry, play areas, and support services (meals, education for siblings) to keep families together during difficult medical treatments.
