In episode 5, Brian & Chris get to hear the incredible story and connect with Michael Connors of ConnorsK9-PAWS, which stands for Pups Assisting Warriors to Succeed (P.A.W.S.). We get an inside look at Michael's story from having a fulfilling career in the military to being told he was no longer able to serve after an injury. Michael used this set back to refocus, learn to "pet the dog" and begin working with service animals to help get them ready for other veterans. Like many entrepreneurs, he didn't really know what he was doing, but his story is one of resilience and strength as he found a new compass heading and now has (at times) more work than he can handle! Michael has his annual 165-mile Ruck March kicking off at Sunrise on May 21st! This four-day journey will have celebrations happening along the way at Bucket List Tavern in Castle Rock, Red Leg Brewery in Monument, and a final celebration at 105 Brewery back in Castle Rock on May 24th.
