Here's the thing.... at least I'm self aware....
Today I sat down with Chelsea, and talked about attachment styles, and mine? oops. BUT, we're working on it!! I caught the signs early enough to be self aware... BUT anyways... Lets get into avoidance and anxious attachment types, and what it can mean.
✨ Meet Chelsea ✨
Hi I'm Chelsea, after my most recent breakup I discovered what an avoidant is and realized I had dated 3 in a row. This led me into the wonderful world of attachment theory where I learned I am an anxious attacher. This began me on my healing journey from anxious to secure. Through therapy and self help books I have discovered my core wounds and triggers so that I can learn to self regulate, self-soothe and learn that I am enough on my own. In the past I was never single for long and always jumped from relationship to relationship.
I have been single for over a year now, taking time for myself, finding out who I am, making friends and finding new interests and hobbies. I am ready to get back out there and start dating. I encourage everyone to look into attachment theory and find out what attachment style you are, it will help you so much in your relationships. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, playing the drums, hiking, traveling, live music and hanging out with friends.
