A man once asked, "What does it mean to be born again?" He was confused and added, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother's womb a second time and be born, can he?"

The man was looking at the question through physical understanding when the solution is spiritual in nature. Being born again according to Jesus means that "one is born of water and the Spirit." Water is symbolic for washing. Spiritual washing removes the guilt and shame of sin. Being born of the Spirit means to have your character morally transformed by your faith in Christ.

Being born again:

• Gives you a new identity as a child of God.
• Grants you citizenship in the kingdom of heaven.
• You are adopted into a new family with brothers and sisters in Christ.
• The promises of God found in His Word are now yours.
• You have the G.O.A.T. future - Greatest Future Of All Time - eternal life in heaven.
