Grief is as old as time—it can grip us in unexpected ways and places, immediately during and long after the event that caused it. And anything can contribute—death, divorce, loss, addiction, a diagnosis, mental health challenges—to the crushing and overwhelming feelings we're experiencing all too acutely these days. Too often we treat grief with half-solutions that only keep them at bay, not lead to real healing and recovery.
